Ready-wheel drive version. 1.6 and 2.0 liter diesel engines
A few months after the seventh series, Volkswagen has already prepared the four-wheel drive version of the Golf equipped with the 4Motion system - hence the name - with Haldex coupling. Permanent four wheel drive is an evolution of the previous one: and a little 'lighter and faster responses.
The outfits are three - Trendline, Comfortline, Highline - while the engines of the Golf 4Motion are two, both diesel and energy efficient compared to similar engines of the previous version with four-wheel drive: 1.6-liter with 105 hp and 2.0-liter, 150.
Are part of the standard device "star & stop", the XDS electronically controlled limited slip differential, power windows and seven airbags, air conditioning, the device "Automatic Post-Collision Braking System", the apparatus of "infotainment" with "touch screen".
Volkswagen has not yet announced the full list of Golf, but compared to the front wheel drive version of the premium 4Motion will be less than 2 thousand Euros.
